Dr. Michael Toffler, received his D.D.S. from the New York
University, College of Dentistry, where he graduated with
honors and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon
National Dental Honor Society in 1983. Dr. Toffler gained
his certificate of General Practice Residency and
Residency in Periodontology from the V.A. Medical Center
in West Los Angeles in 1986.
Dr. Toffler is a Diplomate of the American Board of
Periodontology and has served as a Staff Periodontist at
the Veterans Administration Medical Center in New York
City since 1991. He is well published on sinus and implant
surgery and has designed osteotomes used in implant/sinus
surgery which are used worldwide. Dr. Toffler is also an
active clinical researcher in Implantology, lecturing
frequently at national and international meetings.
Dr Toffler is currently researching the efficacy of short
implants in those patients who have minimal bone available
for implant placement. He will be presenting much of this
research at the upcoming October meeting of the American
Academy of Periodontology in Washington D.C. and the
Greater New York Dental Meeting in November. |
