Dr.
John Varoscak, D.D.S., earned his B.S. at Fairleigh
Dickinson University in 1966. He also received his D.D.S.
from there in 1969, and was honored with the Annual
Student Award by the American Academy of Periodontology
the year of his graduation. Dr. Varoscak gained his
certificate of Training in Periodontics at Columbia
University in 1971.
Dr. Varoscak has also been honored with Fellowships
in the American College of Dentists and International
College of Dentists as well as the Omicron Kappa Upsilon
National Honor Dental Society. He is a former faculty
member at the Dental Schools of the medical College of
Virginia, Columbia University, and Harvard University. He
has lectured and participated in numerous continuing
education lectures in symposia in U.S., Latin America, and
Europe, and is currently Education Director of the New
York County Dental Society. He has been the Co-founder and
President of the New York Metropolitan Dental Study Club
since 1974. He was Section Chief of Periodontics,
Department of Dentistry, Beth Israel Medical Center, New
York. Dr. Varoscak has also published in the diagnosis and
treatment of Oro-Facial pain.
Dr. Varoscak is a
member of many professional societies, including the New
York County Dental Society, New York State Dental Society,
American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, New York Metropolitan Dental Study Club
(President), American Pain Society, International
Association for the Study of Pain, Omicron Kappa Upsilon,
American College of Dentists (Fellow), New York Academy of
Dentists (Fellow), and the International College
of Dentists (Fellow).
Dr. Varoscak was
recently
elected Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an
International Honor Dental Organization.
